LONG MARCH 5B LAUNCHED INTO SPACE ON APRIL 29
It was announced that the rocket that carried the core module of the China Space Station into space and then went out of control, crashed into the Indian Ocean.
The Chinese official news agency made the announcement. According to the report, most of the 21-ton rocket burned to pieces when it re-entered the atmosphere.
In the statement, it was stated that the rocket parts landed at 05.24 Turkish Time, at 2.65 degrees north latitude and 72.47 degrees east longitude.
The coordinates given indicate that the rocket landed somewhere in the Indian Ocean near the Maldives.
China’s Long March-5 rocket was launched into space on April 29. After launching, the Tianhe module left the rocket and entered its planned orbit. Experts expected the parts of the rocket, which began to spin uncontrollably around the world, to fall to the earth in a few days.
The main body of the rocket also had to land at a pre-planned point on Earth.
